NGLA is excited to offer scholarship opportunities for the 2027 NGLA Annual Conference, taking place February 11 through 14, 2027, in Boston, Massachusetts.

Scholarship applications open Monday, October 5, 2026.

The priority application deadline is Sunday, November 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET. Applicants who apply by the priority deadline will receive notification of their scholarship status by December 11, 2026.

After the priority deadline, applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, depending on remaining funding, through Friday, January 8, 2027. All scholarship applicants will receive final notification by January 15, 2027.

Please note: Scholarships cover only the cost of registration. Expenses related to lodging and travel are not included. Priority will be given to students and individuals attending the conference for the first time.

2026 Scholarship Recipient

Receiving the scholarship to attend NGLA was an incredibly meaningful opportunity because it allowed me to engage in a leadership experience that may not have otherwise been accessible to me. Throughout the conference, I gained valuable insight into effective leadership practices, communication, collaboration, and the importance of fostering inclusive and supportive communities. One of the most impactful aspects of NGLA was participating in sessions that emphasized self-awareness, adaptability, and leading with empathy, qualities that are especially important in both academic and professional settings.

I also appreciated the opportunity to connect with students and professionals from diverse backgrounds, which broadened my perspective on leadership and advocacy.

Overall, NGLA strengthened my confidence as a student leader and further inspired my commitment to pursuing a career centered on service, mentorship, and community impact.

The Individual Scholarship is for undergraduate students, graduate students, or professionals to receive registration for the 2026 NGLA Annual Conference from February 26 – March 1, 2026, in Pittsburgh, PA. These scholarships include identity-based scholarships:

• Three scholarships for members of culturally-based fraternal organizations (NAPA, NPHC, MGC).
• Three scholarships for individuals who identify as 1st Generation, LGBTQ+, or BIPOC.
• One scholarship for financial support.
