2027 NGLA Annual Conference Call for Student Staff

Serving as Student Staff Captain was a very transformational experience. It allowed me the opportunity to create and strengthen connections, dive into a micro-leadership role among peers and gave me experience in creating trainings, working on a team and even management. I am so glad that I was able to serve as the Captain and am thankful for the connections that I made while serving in that role. I am a better professional having served in the Captain capacity.

Nolan Rehrig, 2026 Student Staff Captain

“I am so grateful I had the opportunity to join the Student Staff team in 2026. I was able to engage with and learn from peers with similar interests while gaining a behind the scenes perspective on what goes into making a conference successful. Through Student Staff, I also built relationships with professionals who truly inspired me, making the experience even more meaningful. The friendships I made and the memories we created together through Student Staff will always mean so much to me.”

Kaylee Pappas, 2026 Student Staff Member
