We can’t wait for you to join us at the In-Person Experience of the 2022 NGLA Annual Conference in Baltimore, MD!

The health and safety of our attendees and communities are top priorities for NGLA. To help support a safe experience, we’ve updated our policies, including the NGLA Code of Conduct, and implemented new guidelines. Our team evaluates our policies regularly to ensure compliance with public health mandates and recommendations. We will continue to update our health and safety information as needed.

** COVID-19 Policy **

Verification Required to Attend

In an effort to prioritize the health and safety of our attendees and the communities around us, all individuals that are attending the In-Person Experience of the 2022 NGLA Annual Conference in Baltimore, MD must provide proof of either

  • Full, non-booster vaccination against COVID-19 with a vaccine approved or authorized by the FDA or WHO and final dose administered at least 14 days prior to arrival at the conference. “Full, non-booster” vaccination is defined in the Frequently Asked Questions section of this page.

  • Negative rapid antigen or PCR COVID-19 test administered by a third-party within 72 hours of arrival at the conference. Documentation must show the attendee’s name. At-home test results are not accepted.

  • Proof of a positive COVID-19 test result administered by a third-party no more than 90 days prior and no later than 14 days prior to arrival at the conference. Documentation must show the attendee’s name. At-home test results are not accepted.

Each individual attending the In-Person Experience of the 2022 NGLA Annual Conference, regardless of role, must complete the verification process via CrowdPass, a digital health management app for events that participants will be given access to early February 2022. Details regarding our verification process will be available in January.

Face Coverings

Everyone attending the In-Person Experience of the 2022 NGLA Annual Conference in Baltimore, MD must wear an approved face covering while in public spaces of the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront per local public health guidelines. This applies to all attendees.

Masks must be worn at all times except while eating, drinking, or taking oral medications for brief periods. Prolonged periods of mask removal are not permitted for eating or drinking outside of the Grand Ballroom at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront while attending the 2022 NGLA Annual Conference.

Masks must fully cover your nose as well as your mouth and secure under your chin. Face coverings with exhalation valves, mesh material, neck gaiters, or material that cannot be secured under your chin such as a bandana are not permitted.

Those who have received a COVID-19 vaccination are still required to wear a face covering. Refusal to wear a mask is a violation of the NGLA Code of Conduct as well as Baltimore public health guidelines and may result in dismissal from the conference.

 

What to Expect On-Site

Increased Sanitation and Hygiene

NGLA continues to work with the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront to implement sanitization standards. Sanitizer stations will be available throughout the event space. It is the responsibility of everyone to practice proper personal hygiene.

Follow All Signage and Direction from Staff

Logistics adjustments may occur during the event. Please follow instructions from NGLA as well as Marriott staff.

Follow the Code of Conduct

Please be aware of and respect the personal boundaries of your fellow attendees so that everyone can enjoy their experience. Violation of the NGLA Code of Conduct or Baltimore public health guidelines and may result in dismissal from the conference.

What is “full, non-booster” COVID-19 vaccination?

“Full, non-booster” COVID-19 vaccination means by the time of your arrival at the conference you are at least 14 days after your:

  • Second dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine
  • First dose of a single-dose COVID-19 vaccine

All vaccines must be approved or authorized by the FDA or WHO against COVID-19.

Are face coverings required during the conference?

Yes, face coverings are required for all individuals while attending the In-Person Experience in Baltimore, MD when in public spaces of the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront, per local public health guidelines. Please read the “Face Coverings” section above for detailed information.

What if an attendee develops symptoms prior to arrival?

Please do not attend the In-Person Experience of the 2022 NGLA Annual Conference if you experience COVID-19 symptoms prior to traveling.

What if an attendee develops symptoms on-site?

Individuals must comply with CDC guidelines about COVID-19 regarding isolation or quarantine. Associated costs are the responsibility of the individual.

What attendee information will be shared with NGLA?

The only information that will be shared with NGLA is whether a person is approved to attend the In-Person Experience of the 2022 NGLA Annual Conference.

How secure is my personal information on CrowdPass?

Data security is definitely one of CrowdPass’ top priorities. CrowdPass has partnered with two amazing companies to ensure the highest level of security for all of their clients and their event attendees: MedStack and Securicy.

MedStack is a great HIPAA-compliant platform that delivers built-in privacy and security protocols that cover all typical healthcare industry practice on personal data such as encryption, certificate and key management, backups, monitoring, and logging. With MedStack’s secure solution, CrowdPass can safely host attendee’s health screening process as well as storing these medical data from the contact-tracing period (28 days) until the disposal period (after 28 days). Therefore, all the information collected from each user will only be accessed internally for health-screening purposes and contact-tracing purposes.

On the other hand, CrowdPass utilizes Securicy for constant quality control of our system security. Securicy is an information security management platform for businesses from start-up to large enterprises. The Securicy platform uses industry-leading best practices to generate information security policies for our web application and automatically create implementation tasks. They frequently audit our system such as with penetration tests to evaluate our security level and provide tools, resources, and advice for building and maintaining our security compliance.
